What was the last good movie you watched?
Great acting on Casey Affleck's part. Crazy, fresh plot written (and directed) by his brother, Ben. All the twists are still going through my head.
When did you really get to make a difference for someone else?

Being a mom for my 2 daughters.
I sometimes think that of all the millions of people in the world, I must not count, I can fall off the face of the earth and the world will still go on. But not really, not for my kids, at least. And so I have become more aware of that and make it a point to laugh about anything, to find joy in the big blow-up blue man waving in the wind in front of the gas station, to point out the row of birds hanging out on the wires, the almost full-moon in the dusk sky, the dog panting with his head out the window, grinning, ears flapping, the still, almost mirror-like water on the bay on a good clear day.
I want them to know the value of life, of truly living, of going after what binds them, of being part of a family, of being good, fair, honorable people to themselves and to others.
Getting pretty for her 10th birthday tomorrow. Sweet thing.
